Here I have embedded two examples of my writing, both in scholarly environments, though I regret that the formatting does not embed perfectly. No less, despite their marred visage, all the ideas are yet perfectly preserved.

“The Long Term Effects of Short Term Sexuality”

This is the paper to accompany the aforementioned graduate level research that I was conducting my senior year. I wanted to understand the “hookup culture” to a greater degree. After that, I took a phenomenological approach to look into some of the prospective long term, residual effects of that culture and if it’s current participants had ever pondered what may come, if anything, of their actions now.

“How to Speak ‘Woman'”

This was a rather fun paper I wrote for a class in Gender Communication. I began by first acknowledging a present impasse in communication between men and women. From there, as a man, I posited a few ways that men could bridge the gap and better communicate with women, yet also how women could equally bridge the other side of the gap to communicate with men. Finally, I addressed a socialized archetype men are often forced in to that prevents them from communicating with women. I confess that my perspective in this paper was limited, being only one man myself. No less, I enjoyed the research I did and synthesizing my findings into this paper.
